Christchurch trip a winner

Every year, the Wellington Revival Church plans a visit to another Revival Church assembly.

Thirty of the Wellington crew jumped on a Jetstar flight and made our way to Christchurch (yes, we actually got there and back on schedule!).

Arriving on Saturday, we met up with our Christchurch contingent in the city. For some, it was the first time meeting each other, for others it was catching up after a few months or years of seeing each other.

Later that night the ‘Youngies’ went to The Villas for dinner, while the ‘oldies’ went to Cafe Valentino. We were also joined by some members of the Dunedin and Blenheim based assemblies. Again, we had the opportunity to get to know each other better and share encouraging testimonies. Psalm 133 v 1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

On Sunday, we had our communion meeting full of encouraging testimonies, uplifting songs and inspiring thoughts from the Word of God. While it was sad to be heading home only after one day, the Wellington assembly were left feeling pumped and stirred up by the weekend’s fellowship,

Thanks to the members of the Christchurch assembly for putting on such a great weekend.
